We invite you to join and spread the word about an exclusive network of trusted leaders, organizations, and businesses in the Black community to help us empower more adults to live their healthiest lives. As a “Live to the Beat” Community Ambassador, you can help those in your community lower their risk for heart disease and stroke. As an Ambassador, you would:
- Sharing heart-healthy messages and resources with your community.
- Promoting opportunities for your audiences to win cool prizes for taking healthy steps.
- Sharing your outreach to inspire others.
- Gaining national recognition and a chance to earn prizes of your own.

I live to the beat because CVD is a silent killer, and many people don't act until it is too late. Two days after I started working with the NACHC Million Hearts team, my best friend from high school died as a result of complications from heart surgery. I want my community to not just survive but thrive and live their best lives! I'm helping others live to the beat by making it fun and making the right thing the easy thing. This is why I love this campaign - it is about living healthy in a way that feels good and speaks to your authentic self.

Living to the beat has become an integral part of my journey as a mother, wife, and business owner. It's important to me because it is a reminder to stay connected with my inner self, fostering mindfulness and physical and mental well-being. My company, MGS Wellness specializes in providing CPR training and pharmacy consulting/wellness education. I am grateful for the opportunity to utilize this platform as a means of inspiring everyone.
